WHO WE ARE

NEED FOR A COORDINATOR OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY MINISTRIES
As recently as 5 years ago, our congregation was made up primarily of childless young adults; there were only about 5 children in the entire church, which was not enough to sustain a regular children’s ministry. As our congregation has grown and aged, we have recently welcomed the birth of nearly a dozen babies in the past 2 years, with more on the way. (You can see a current description of our COTA Kids Program on our website.)

We are now in urgent need of a Children and Family Ministries Coordinator who can facilitate and oversee a progressive Christian educational program that will support the spiritual formation of our church’s children. Our church’s children currently range in age from infants and toddlers through middle school. The parents in our community are also seeking connection with one another and support in how to cultivate faith within their children. We have a group of parents who are enthusiastic about volunteering to help support the Children and Family Ministries Coordinator with any new programming for children and families.
